Amsterdam, the Netherlands, April 29, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 1,104,933 Ahold common shares in the period from April 22, 2013 up to and including April 26, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 11.8494 per share for a total consideration of € 13.10 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013.
