Ziggo stock to be included in Dutch Midcap index "AMX"
Today Ziggo announces that it has been nominated to be included in the AMX index (Dutch midcap index) of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange of NYSE Euronext. This inclusion is based on the average trading volume as per the recent quarterly review and will be effective as from 24 September, 2012.
Bernard Dijkhuizen, CEO of Ziggo, commented: "The inclusion in the Dutch Midcap index is a positive development for the company which will enhance the visibility of the shares and therefore improve liquidity."
After close of markets of 19 September 2012, NYSE Euronext will publish the weight of each constituent in the index. The compiler of the index has the right to revise the selection in the event of a take-over or other exceptional circumstances prior to re-weighing.
