Amsterdam, 16 April 2012 (Regulated Information)--- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V.'s ("AMG", EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG") wholly owned subsidiary, AMG Invest GmbH ("AMG Invest") announced that it has acquired over 2.4% of the outstanding shares of Graphit Kropfmühl AG, ("GK") through the previously announced voluntary public tender offer (the "Voluntary Tender") pursuant to the German Securities Acquisition and Tender Act. AMG now owns approximately 90.6% of GK's shares. AMG Invest has also extended the Voluntary Tender period to April 25 following approval of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority ("BaFin").
