Progress on buy-back programme Nutreco shares

Further to the share buy-back programme announced on 10 February 2012, Nutreco announces that during the period from 5 March 2012 until and including 9 March 2012, Nutreco purchased 113,770 of its shares at an average price of EUR 55.92 per share. The total number of shares repurchased under this programme to date is 434,213 common shares for a total consideration of EUR 24.2 million.
The share buy-back programme will ultimately terminate on 13 April 2012, unless the maximum number of 700,000 shares has been repurchased prior to such date. In that case the programme will end on the date on which this maximum is reached and such early termination will immediately be disclosed.
