Amsterdam, the Netherlands, November 7, 2011 - Ahold has repurchased 2,842,995 Ahold common shares in the period from October 31, 2011 up to and including November 4, 2011. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.2012 per share for a total consideration of € 26.16 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
