Second-quarter 2011 highlights
Group revenue up to € 815 million, a 9% increase compared to the second quarter last year
Gross profit up 4% compared to last year and gross margin of 21.0% (Q2 2010: 22.0%)
Underlying operating expenses of € 143 million, up 3% on the second quarter of 2010, down € 1 million on the previous quarter (Q1 2011: € 144 million)
Underlying EBITA up to € 21 million (EBITA margin: 2.6%) compared to an underlying EBITA of € 19 million (EBITA margin: 2.6%) in the second quarter of 2010
Underlying net income up to € 5 million compared to € 4 million in the second quarter of 2010
Provision of € 16 million for cost reductions in the Netherlands which will result in annual cost savings of € 27 million from 2012. Savings of € 11 million in the second half of 2011
Provision of € 21 million taken for CGZP / AMP case in Germany
