Amsterdam, The Netherlands, May 30, 2011 - Ahold has repurchased 475,000 Ahold common shares in the period from May 23, 2011 up to and including May 27, 2011. The shares were repurchased at an average price of EUR 9.7116 per share for a total consideration of EUR 4.61 million. These repurchases were made as part of the EUR 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
