Amsterdam, the Netherlands, October 25, 2010 - Ahold has repurchased 200,000 Ahold common shares in the period from October, 18, 2010 up to and including October, 22, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.8167 per share for a total consideration of € 1.96 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
