KKR Private Equity Investors, L.P. (Euronext Amsterdam: KPE) confirmed that KKR & Co. L.P. (collectively with its consolidated affiliates, “KKR”) has proposed terms revising the pending acquisition of all of the assets and liabilities of KPE by KKR (the “Transaction”). The proposed terms are set forth in the press release of KKR attached as Annex A.
In addition, KKR and KPE have agreed to extend to October 31, 2009 from August 31, 2009 the date by which such Transaction must be completed before either party may, subject to certain conditions, terminate the agreement relating to the Transaction.
