Titel Schiphol Group Supervisory Board changes announced
Bericht The Supervisory Board of Schiphol Group has announced the appointment of Mr A. (Anthony) Ruys as its new chairman as from April 2009. Mr Ruys will be succeeding Mr P.J. (Jan) Kalff, who has been a Board member since 1997 and is not eligible for reappointment after serving his third 4-year term. Mr Ruys, who previously chaired the Management Board of Heineken NV, was first appointed to the Schiphol Group Supervisory Board in 2006. Taking his place as vice chairman is Ms T.A. (Trude) Maas-de Brouwer, former president of HayVision Society and first appointed to the Schiphol Group Supervisory Board in 2001. Mr H.J. (Herman) Hazewinkel (59) will take the seat left upon Mr Kalff’s departure. Mr Hazewinkel recently (end 2008) stepped down as chairman of the Management Board at VolkerWessels. Prior to joining VolkerWessels in 1993 (its then legal predecessors), he worked as an accountant at the Dutch Ministry of Finance and the accountancy firm of Ernst & Young. In addition, following on the agreements made between Schiphol Group and Aéroports de Paris (AdP) in December of last year, by which each party took an eight percent share cross participation, Mr P. (Pierre) Graff (61; French citizen) will join the Schiphol Group Supervisory Board on 15 July 2009. Before being named chairman of Aéroports de Paris SA in 2003, Mr Graff served as general director of the Civil Aviation Authority and principal private secretary to the French Minister of Infrastructure, Transport, Tourism and the Sea. Mr Graff’s appointment will bring the total number of Supervisory Board members to eight. 09-2009
