Royal DSM N.V. has repurchased 534,797 of its own shares in the period from 3 July 2008 up to and including 8 July 2008 at an average price of EUR 35.90. This is in accordance with the second phase of the share buyback program, announced on 5 May 2008. The consideration of this repurchase was EUR 19.2 million.
