Halifax, Nova Scotia, July 11, 2007– Homburg Invest Inc. (“Homburg”) (TSX: HII.A & HII.B and AEX: HII) announced today that it has issued 5,430,000 additional Class A Subordinate Voting Shares (the “Class A Shares”) at a price of $5.25 per share representing total gross proceeds of $28,507,500 to Homburg, following the exercise in full of the over-allotment option granted to a syndicate of underwriters led by BMO Capital Markets, in connection with Homburg’s previously announced public offering that closed on June 13, 2007.
