LOENHOUT, BELGIUM, January 31, 2007 . . . Uni-Invest Holdings N.V. has acquired ownership of 6,368,164 Class A Subordinate Voting Shares of Homburg Invest Inc. (“Class A Shares”), representing 6.65% of the issued and outstanding Class A Shares from treasury pursuant to a private placement. Uni-Invest Holdings N.V. paid CDN$5.12 per share for total consideration of CDN$32,604,999.68 (EUR 21,250,000).
