HALIFAX, June 16, 2006/CNW/ – With reference to the press releases of May 11 and June 2, 2006, Homburg Invest Inc. ("Homburg" or the "Company") (Euronext Amsterdam: HII, TSX: HII.A and HII.B) today announces further details of a public offer (the “Offer”) of new Class A Subordinate Voting Shares of the Company ("Class A Shares") for an amount of € 50 million. The intended € 200 million will not be raised due to market conditions. The bookbuilding closed on June 15, 2006 and the issuance of the Class A Shares is expected to take place on June 21, 2006.
