Bericht Press release Spyker Trading Update Third Quarter 2005 Zeewolde, the Netherlands, 28 October 2005 - - Spyker Cars N.V., manufacturer of high-quality sports cars, today announced the trading update for the third quarter of 2005. Spyker Cars is listed on Eurolist by Euronext Amsterdam. • Order backlog (cars on order still to be produced) increased from 151 cars as per June 30th to 157 cars at the end of the third quarter. • Car production and delivery up to and including the third quarter 2005 reached 22 cars. • First bodies in white following the Karmann production agreement (for 350 bodies in white) produced in Osnabrück, Germany. • On August 18, 2005, Spyker Cars issued 83,334 new ordinary shares (3.1 %) at an issue price of 12 euro to a Saudi investor with major interests in the automotive industry. • On September 30, 2005, MerchantBridge, an international banking firm, acquired 326,478 shares at 12 euro per share. 294,810 of these shares were newly issued. Moreover MerchantBridge acquired 110,652 shares from Mr. H. Hugenholtz, their aggregate shareholding reaching 15% of the outstanding shares in Spyker Cars N.V. The proceeds will be used to strengthen the working capital. • In September, Spyker C8 Spyder was voted best new exotic car 2006 by duPont Registry’s Exotic Car Buyers Guide 2006, chosen from well over 100 cars. • Official openings of Spyker of Las Vegas, Nevada, USA; Spyker of Moscow, Russia and Spyker of Beijing, China took place in the third quarter. • On September 4, 2005, Spyker Squadron participated successfully during the LMES 1000 KM of Nürburgring, Germany, ending second in the GT2 class winning its first podium place with the Spyker C8 Spyder GT2R (chassis number 046). • Spyker participated in the concours d’elegances of Cranbrook, USA (July) and Pebble Beach, USA (August) and the Millionaire Fair, Moscow, Russia (September) • New appointments: Mr. Richard Borsboom as Director Finance; Michiel van der Brink as Stylin
