Caribbean Netherlands: sign up for the Wwft BES information meeting on 29 June
The Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) (BES Islands) Act (Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme BES, Wwft BES) will be thoroughly amended on 1 July 2021 in order to ensure compliance with the European Dutch Wwft. The AFM is organising an online information session on 29 June to help market parties prepare for these changes.
See our previous newsmessage for details on the most important changes and the necessary preparations. The AFM is organising an online information session for life insurance brokers in order to help the market prepare for the new regulations. This session will be held in Dutch.
Programme
The AFM will hold a presentation on the amendments and outline the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the new requirements. Also the Financial Intelligence Unit Netherlands will give a presentation. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions. Life insurance brokers have already received a personal invitation to this session.Submit your questions in advance
