Private Capital

18 feb 2014 Waarschuwing van een buitenlandse toezichthouder

The Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) wishes to draw the attention of the public to the activities of PRIVATE CAPITAL and to state that this company is not authorised to receive funds, provide investment services, or directly market banking or financial services on French territory.

PRIVATE CAPITAL, whose website is www.privatecapitals.com, conducts direct marketing targeted to French investors, offering them investment or financial services, in particular on the forex markets, and presenting itself as “recognised as one of the industry’s premier global wealth management firms”. This company is not authorised to provide investment services, receive funds, or directly market banking or financial services on French territory.

Furthermore, PRIVATE CAPITAL’s website is identical to the site of GOLDMAN CAPITAL, a company which was the subject of an AMF warning on 26 September 2013. This site has since been shut down. Consequently, the AMF advises investors to decline any offers from PRIVATE CAPITAL and not to pass them on to third parties in any form whatsoever.

More generally, before committing yourself you should always check that the financial intermediary offering or recommending investments in financial instruments features on the list of financial institutions authorised to do business in France (https://www.regafi.fr/). If the intermediary in question is not on this list, we strongly urge you to decline their offer of services.

Do you have any questions or queries? For all information, you can go to our website http://www.amffrance.org or call the AMF Epargne Info Service team on +33 (0)1 5345 62 00, Mondays to Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm.
