Wwft BES islands
The AFM supervises financial institutions and financial service providers established on Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba (the BES islands). These financial institutions and providers play an important role in the financial markets in detecting and preventing financial-economic crime and improper behaviour.The requirements for this are incorporated in Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act BES (Wwft BES).
