Registration and deregistration exempt manager

Registration of an exempt manager and managed investment fund(s)

Managers of investment funds that are subject to the AIFMD registration regime and are therefore not subject to a licence requirement must (and the investment fund(s) to be managed by them must report/register with the AFM prior to marketing units in the investment fund(s) to be managed by them.

The fee for registering an exempt manager is €4,400.

Deregistration of an exempt manager and managed investment fund(s)

If an exempt manager is no longer active as a manager of investment funds in the Netherlands, this must be reported to the AFM.
When you cancel your request, we ask you to at least send a cover letter in which you explain your request.

No costs are charged for cancelling a registration.
