Amsterdam, January 29, 2014 - Gemalto (Euronext NL0000400653 GTO), the world leader in digital security, has again been positioned as a Leader in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for User Authentication published at the end of 2013. The Magic Quadrant represents the strategic analysis of key vendors who are measured on their completeness of vision and ability to execute.
Gartner predicts that, by year-end 2016, about 30% of enterprises will choose cloud-based services as the delivery option for new or refreshed user authentication implementations - up from about 10% today. Addressing the growing movement toward mobile and cloud, Gemalto has been introducing a range of innovative products which deliver the same high security level as traditional strong authentication solutions while addressing users' need for mobility, new devices and employees who bring their own devices (BYOD).
