Zaandam, the Netherlands, June 24, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 3,292,000 Ahold common shares in the period from June 17, 2013 up to and including June 21, 2013.The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 11.6979 per share for a total consideration of € 38.51 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013 as increased by € 1.5 billion to a total amount of € 2 billion announced on June 4, 2013.
