Amsterdam, July 26, 2012 – Kardan N.V. (“Kardan” or “the Company”), active in Real Estate, Water Infrastructure and Financial Services in emerging markets, announces that its holding for the Chinese water infrastructure operations, Kardan Water International Group (HK) Ltd (“Kardan Water”) and an International Infrastructure Fund agreed to terminate the Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) that was signed between the parties and announced on July 6, 2012.
The parties decided to terminate the MoU as they came to the conclusion that a final agreement will not be reached in the envisaged time frame.
