Amsterdam, the Netherlands, February 13, 2012 - Ahold has repurchased 2,070,056 Ahold common shares in the period from February 6, 2012 up to and including February 10, 2012. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.4486 per share for a total consideration of € 21.63 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
