Mechelen, België; 17 juni 2010 – Galapagos NV (Euronext: GLPG) kondigt vandaag aan dat Kempen & Co. bijna 1,3 miljoen Galapagos aandelen (5.4% van de totaal uitstaande aandelen) geplaatst heeft via een accelerated bookbuilding transactie. De aandelen zijn verkocht door Apax, die haar positie in Galapagos had verworven tijdens de financieringsronde met durfkapitaal investeerders in 2002. De aandelen zijn bij Europese institutionele beleggers geplaatst.
