Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Ahold has repurchased 772,915 Ahold common shares in the period from May 24, 2010 up to and including May, 28, 2010. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.0978 per share for a total consideration of € 7.8 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
