Amsterdam, 11 February 2008 - Further to the share buyback program announced on 30 July 2007, the completion of a first euro 200 million tranche on 4 January 2008, and a second euro 100 million tranche announced on 7 January 2008, TNT N.V. announces that:
• on 4 February 2008, it purchased 10,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 25.6208 per share,
• on 5 February 2008, it purchased 495,906 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 25.5584 per share,
• on 6 February 2008, it purchased 5,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 25.5853 per share,
• on 7 February 2008, it purchased 16,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 25.6947 per share,
• on 8 February 2008, it purchased 18,855 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 26.0750 per share,
• during the period from 7 January 2008 until and including 8 February 2008, it purchased 2,749,741 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of euro 25.4569 per share, and
• the total amount of the share buyback from 7 January 2008 until and including 8 February 2008 therefore amounts to 70.00% of the euro 100 million tranche.
It is TNT's intention to cancel the repurchased shares.
