Halifax, Nova Scotia, February 16, 2007 (TSX: HII.A & HII.B and AEX:HII) – Homburg Invest Inc. (“Homburg”) announced today that on February 16, 2007 it submitted a binding written proposal to the Board of Trustees of Alexis Nihon Real Estate Investment Trust (“Alexis Nihon”) proposing to increase its announced offer to acquire all of the outstanding units of Alexis Nihon to CAD$18.60 per unit.
