Speech Hanzo van Beusekom at 7th Annual FinTech and Regulation Conference

Hanzo van Beusekom, executive board member at the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), spoke on Tuesday 7 February at the 7th Afore Annual FinTech and Regulation Conference.

In his speech ’Plan for the Future, In dialogue to anticipate the speed of digitization’ (pdf, 155 kB), he discussed the amount of regulation that is being rolled out as a result of digitization and trying to find it’s balance between opportunities and threats. This can only be achieved by cooperation between regulators and the industry, according to Van Beusekom.
