License to operate or hold a regulated market

In the following overview all regulated markets that are located in the Netherlands and have been granted a license by the Dutch Minister of Finance are listed. Operating a regulated market without aforementioned license is illegal. (Section 5:26 sub 1 Financial Supervision Act).

Dispensation from the requirement to obtain a license to operate a regulated market

Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF)

In the following overview all MTFs, that are operated in the Netherlands, and have been granted a license by the Minister of Finance are listed. (Section 2:96 Financial Supervision Act).

The licence granted to TOM B.V. for operating multilateral trading facility TOM MTF has been withdrawn as from 6 July 2017 at the request of TOM B.V. TOM MTF has been closed by TOM B.V. as from 30 June 2017. The decision to withdraw the licence has not yet become irrevocable.

The licence granted to Euronext Amsterdam N.V. for operating multilateral trading facility Alternext Amsterdam has been withdrawn as of 9 April 2014. The withdrawal has been done at request of Euronext Amsterdam N.V.

In order to to procure an orderly completion of the Alternext Amsterdam activities Euronext Amsterdam N.V. will close Alternext Amsterdam on 30 April 2016 at the latest, and if possible earlier. Euronext Amsterdam N.V. will publish the final closing date in a timely fashion.
