The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) is launching its renovated website on 12 November. The site’s home page and the information for professionals have been completely renovated and henceforth have smartphone and tablet support.

The website is one of the AFM’s main means of communication. The fundamental premise of the new website is that the user is the centre of focus. The visitor’s requirements determine the layout and content of the site.

A significant difference from the former website is that there are now two ways to search for information: by subject and by target group. Visitors can for instance search by mortgages and notifications, as well as by advisers and intermediaries. This makes it easier to find the right information. Furthermore, the font and line spacing have been increased on the renovated website, making texts easier to read.

The new website does not yet feature renovated pages for the digital portal, the registers and the consumer section. These will be renovated at a later date.

The AFM is committed to promoting fair and transparent financial markets.

As an independent market conduct authority, we contribute to a sustainable financial system and prosperity in the Netherlands.
