The AFM imposes an order for incremental penalty payments for failing to comply with requests for information

This news is older than 3 years. Therefore it is possible that the information is no longer valid.

On 3 May 2012, the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) imposed an order for incremental penalty payments on Mr R. van den Berg, formerly trading under the name Montana Beheer, for failing to comply with requests for information from the AFM. The AFM requested information from Mr R. van den Berg because it suspects that Mr R. van den Berg has provided or continues to provide financial services without a licence from the AFM for this purpose.

Mr R. van den Berg, with an address at Neutronenlaan 6A, 5405 NH Uden, did not supply the requested information before the fixed deadline and is therefore required to make incremental penalty payments. The requested information still needs to be provided to the AFM. The incremental penalty payments will increase by €4,000 for every day Mr R. van den Berg fails to comply with the order, subject to maximum of €80,000.

The AFM calls on the public to share information on Mr R. van den Berg with the AFM. If you wish to do so, you can contact the Financial Markets Information Line on: 0800-5400 540 (free of charge).

The AFM is committed to promoting fair and transparent financial markets.

As an independent market conduct authority, we contribute to a sustainable financial system and prosperity in the Netherlands.
