On 5 January 2012, the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) imposed an order for incremental penalty payments on Complete Marketing B.V., for failing to comply with requests for information from the AFM. The AFM requested information from Complete Marketing B.V. because the AFM suspects that Complete Marketing B.V. has provided or continues to provide financial services without a permit from the AFM for this purpose.

Complete Marketing B.V. makes financial service providers the offer that it will purchase agreements on advice and/or brokerage services in Complete Marketing B.V. disability insurance. This constitutes a violation of Article 2:80 of the Financial Supervision Act (Wft). The AFM requires the information that has been requested in order to determine whether this Act has indeed been violated.

Complete Marketing B.V., with its registered office formerly at Kalmarweg 14 - 5 (9723 JG) in Groningen and currently established at Veelmanlanden 9 (7542 MC) in Enschede, has failed to provide the requested information within the term set and is therefore required to pay the maximum penalty of €80,000. The requested information still needs to be provided to the AFM.

The AFM calls on the public to share information on Complete Marketing B.V. with the AFM. If you wish to do so, you can contact the Financial Markets Information Line on: 0800-5400 540 (free of charge).
