Ronald Gerritse started work as chairman of the board of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) on Monday 2 May.
In addition to the internal integration programme, he will conduct initial meetings with representatives of market parties and other interested parties. He will also participate in consultations with national and international supervisors.
Ronald Gerritse succeeds Hans Hoogervorst who was appointed chairman of the IASB earlier this year. Until 1 May, Gerritse was secretary general and treasurer general at the Ministry of Finance.
