Joop Feilzer appointed to the AFM Supervisory Board

Mr Joop Feilzer has been appointed to the AFM Supervisory Board effective as of 1 February 2011.

Minister of Finance De Jager has appointed Joop Feilzer (1949) to the AFM Supervisory Board effective as of 1 February 2011. Joop Feilzer fills the vacancy that arose as a result of the departure of Mr Fred Böttcher.

Joop Feilzer has worked at Fortis from incorporation in 1990 to December 2006, where he was member of the Board and the Executive Committee. In connection with this appointment, Mr Feilzer will retire as supervisory board member at BNP Paribas OBAM NV as of the same date.

The AFM Supervisory Board supervises the operation of the Board, approves the annual plan, the budget and the AFM financial statements and advises the Minister of Finance on the appointment, dismissal and conditions of employment of AFM directors. The Chairman of the AFM Supervisory Board is Mr George Möller.
