The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) hereby announces that, on 29 October 2009, it imposed an order for incremental penalty payments on Mr S.R. Kooij, trading under the name Kooij Financieel Advies.
The order for incremental penalty payments was imposed because Mr S.R. Kooij, trading under the name Kooij Financieel Advies, fails to comply with the requests for information from the AFM supervisors. The AFM supervisors requested information from Mr S.R. Kooij, trading under the name Kooij Financieel Advies, because they suspect that this institution has provided, or continues to provide, financial services, without a licence for this purpose from the AFM.
Mr S.R. Kooij, trading under the name Kooij Financieel Advies, did not supply the requested information by the deadline and is therefore required to make incremental penalty payments. In addition, the information requested must still be provided to the AFM.
