What is the AFM Portal and how does it work?

The AFM Portal offers various options for submitting requests or changes to the AFM. For example, you can apply for or modify a licence. You can also view the AFM's records of your company.

Applying for login details

You cannot log in to the AFM portal with an existing AFMID. You can only log in to the AFM Portal with a personal business email address, which can be applied for by a director of your company. The director of a company can link new users to their company.

How do I submit reports via the AFM Portal?

Forgot your password?

If you have lost your password, you can request a new one by clicking the ‘forgot password’ option. If you cannot remember your username, simply request a new account. Your account will not be blocked if you enter incorrect passwords.

Where are my licenses/registrations?

You will see an overview of your licenses and registrations when you have added your organization to your account.

How do you change your company information?

Is your company registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce? The AFM will then automatically receive the following information: company name, registered office, internet address, business address, and correspondence address.

A different correspondence or billing address will not be automatically changed in our administration. This will only be added to our administration by exception. Please mind that a different address for your account will mean that the AFM will stop receiving automatic updates of your address through the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce.

Do you want to report a change in trade name or a change in a current different correspondence or billing address? E-mail this to relatiebeheer@afm.nl. You can notify us of other changes via the various portal services.

Can you authorise someone and how does it work?

You may authorise another party to use the AFM Portal and request services on your behalf. Only a director or an appointed authorisation manager of a company can do this.

Forgot to include the required attachments with an application or request?

If necessary, you can send any attachments for your pending application through the portal at a later date. Please note: The time required to process your application or request largely depends on the clarity and completeness of your application or request.
