Register data reporting service providers

A data reporting service provider provides data reporting services. This category is divided in APA’s, ARM’s and CTP’s.

  • An APA provides the service of publishing trade reports on behalf of investment firms.
  • A CTP provides the service of collecting trade reports made public by trading platforms (and APA’s).
  • An ARM provides the service of reporting details of transactions to competent authorities or to ESMA on behalf of investment firms

Since 1 January 2022, ESMA is responsible for supervising data reporting services providers. Exceptions are the APAs and ARMs whose activities are of limited relevance for the internal market. This is the case when the entity is relatively small and only active in a limited number of countries. In such a case, the AFM supervises the entity and the AFM is the authority that grants the license.

Authorised data reporting services providers

There are currently no data reporting services providers under AFM supervision.
