Speech Hans Hoogervorst, Chairman of the Board of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets, held on 26 November 2010 at the APG seminar 'Communication on uncertainty'.
In this speech he deals with the importance of honest and realistic communication about expected benefits, the costs of pension funds and the quality of pension schemes. He therefore argues for a Financial Leaflet which contains this information. He also points out the major importance of solidarity between young and older persons for the continued existence of the system.
