The AFM imposes an order for incremental penalty payments on Mr W. Schoonhoven (Koningsstede)

The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) hereby announces that, on 10 December 2008, it imposed an order for incremental penalty payments on: Mr W. Schoonhoven, also trading under the name Koningsstede (Koningsstraat 91-93, 7315 HV in Apeldoorn).

The order was imposed because Mr Schoonhoven has failed to comply with the requests for information from the AFM. The AFM requested information from Mr Schoonhoven because the AFM suspects that Mr Schoonhoven, also trading under the name Koningsstede, has mediated in and provided consultancy services regarding financial products in the Netherlands without possessing a licence from the AFM to do so. Mr Schoonhoven does have a licence, effective as of 30 November 2007, for providing mediation services with respect to savings accounts.

Mr Schoonhoven did not supply the requested information by the deadline and is therefore required to make incremental penalty payments. In addition, the information requested must still be provided to the AFM.
