Reporting to the AFM
Are you having trouble using the website or app of a financial company? For example, you are unable to operate an app, or a website does not work with speech software. If so, you can report this to the AFM. Your report helps us to hold companies accountable for their responsibility to make the financial sector accessible to people with disabilities.
What to report?
When submitting a report, it is important that you describe the following points:
- Which financial company is the issue related to?
- Have you contacted the financial company?
- Could you describe the problem? Examples of problems include: the videos on this website do not have subtitles, so I cannot understand them, or keyboard navigation does not work on this website, so I cannot make a payment.
- Where does the problem occur (e.g. on a website or in an app, on a public website or in your personal account, certain steps in concluding a service or information that you cannot see)?
- When did you first experience the problem? Has the problem been resolved in the meantime?
How to report?
You can report an inaccessible financial service via the AFM contact page. If you have difficulty filling out the form, you can also report the problem via info@afm.nl. Alternatively, you can also report it during telephone consultation hours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on telephone number 0800 5400 540.
