Wmz notifications 1996 - shareholders
Since 1 February 1992, shareholders' interests in Dutch listed public limited companies are disclosed. As soon as the shareholding percentage equals or exceeds 5% of the issued capital, the shareholder should report this. Subsequently, he should notify the AFM again when he gains or loses possession of shares and his shareholding percentage consequently falls within a different bandwidth. The bandwidths specified in the Act on the Disclosure of Major Holdings in Listed Companies 1996 (Wet melding zeggenschap in ter beurze genoteerde vennootschappen 1996, Wmz) are 0-5%, 5-10%, 10-25%, 25-50%, 50-66 2/3% and 66 2/3 or more percent (for investment companies with variable capital the bandwidths are 0-25%, 25-50%, 50-66 2/3% and 66 2/3 or more percent). The duty of disclosure applies to legal entities and natural persons.
The notifications are included in two overviews: the overview Wmz 1991 shows the notifications for which the duty of disclosure originated between 1 February 1992 and 1 June 1997. The overview Wmz 1996 shows the notifications for which the duty of disclosure originated between 1 June 1997 and the present.
