I have a complaint about a financial institution
Perhaps you are dissatisfied with services of a bank, insurer or another financial institution. If this is the case you can submit a complaint.
Below we will explain how and where to submit a complaint in 4 steps.
- Write a letter to the relevant financial institution.
- Send a letter to the Financial Services Complaints Board (Klachteninstituut Financiële Dienstverlening, or Kifid) and one copy of your complaint to the Financial Markets Information Line.
- Or submit your complaint to the competent court if the Kifid cannot handle your complaint.
- Check all steps (pay attention to the procedures and conditions of all steps).
