Card credit
Customer cards
These days, you can pay at more and more stores with store cards or customer cards. In many cases, affiliated retailers will also let you pay in instalments for the goods you have bought. You can do this up to a pre-determined credit limit. When you have paid off part of the amount, you will be allowed to buy goods again up to the limit amount.
In other words, card credit is a type of continuous credit. On average, the interest rate on card credit is higher than on continuous credit that you arrange with a bank.
Credit card
A credit card allows you to pay in restaurants, hotels and the like. A credit card may also include an option for a line of credit.
