To choose a provider
There are many ways to choose a provider. Ask for the prospectus or the Financial Information Leaflet for the investment products concerned.
When you compare, pay particular attention to the following:
- the costs of investment and of the investment product itself;
- the investment policy and the risks of the investment product;
- the terms and conditions that apply to the investment product;
- the possibilities for pulling out.
Always look critically at offers and do not be taken in by advisors just because they have a good story. If you bring in an intermediary, do not forget that intermediaries are paid on commission and are therefore not as independent as they seem.
